Last month we took Millie’s second birthday photos in the morning at Kent Park. It turned out to be a beautiful morning to take photos. It was an overcast morning with 70 degree temps, and no wind.
Anyone who knows Millie knows how much she loves Bluey! So, of course, we had to incorporate some of her favorite things into her second birthday photos.
Millie wore the sweetest Bluey dress, which was perfect for her personality and made the photos feel extra special. We also brought along her Bluey and Bingo stuffed animals so she could have her favorite characters with her during the session.
One of the cutest additions was her Bluey bubble machine! It gave her something fun to play with and added a little extra magic to the photos. I love including toys and familiar things in milestone pictures because they help little ones feel comfortable and make the photos more personal.
Thanks again to Whitney Paige Photography for capturing Millie’s second birthday photos.
I know these photos will be something we treasure for years to come. Two is such a fun age, full of personality, curiosity, and so much sweetness, and I couldn’t love these memories more.
If you’re looking for inspiration for toddler birthday pictures, a Bluey-themed photoshoot, or an outdoor family photography location in Iowa, I hope Millie’s second birthday session gives you a few ideas for capturing your own little one’s special milestone!
